It is better to change the fold positions at least
4 to 5 months once. The saree should not be packed
in a box or a cover and kept.
Lot of care needs to be taken
while wearing a silk saree.
• The border and
pallu should be washed separately
• It is better to avoid soap for a
few washes and mild soap should be used
later. The saree should be put to dry immediately
• It should not be washed with any
inferior quality materials.
